I have some new pictures. Maybe they'll get put up. Backyard stuff. Nothing special. Just a few, maybe five or so.
There would be more, except during the begining of November, on my way to a Gwar show, I slammed my purse into trunk of my car. I don't a super special, expensive camera. Just a point and shoot with an ungodly amount of megapixels.
The LCD screen is smashed. So I ordered another, which came a few weeks ago. When I went to replace it, I noticed that two of the screws were weird. Tri wings. Fuck. So I had to get a /super special/ screwdriver and that shipped yesterday. I expect the whole ordeal to be done by the new year.

On painting, I have one new piece which isn't done, yet. I had started a larger version in india ink. Halfway through I realized it was dumb to use ink as paint when I could use (cheap) paint as paint.
It's very close to finished, though. And I can't wait for the completion because it'll be enough to drag me out of whatever stress pit I've been in.

Ink: Still trying to find a way to craft a tiny nib or pen so I can do some tiny work. I've been thinking about thread alongside a needle to keep the ink. But it seems messy especially because I'd have to hold it /somewhere/.
I also tried mangling a small paintbrush so it's tip was even smaller, but no dice. It's not small enough for the line work I want to do.
I thought about using a nib since I remembered getting pretty small lines with it. I dug it out of my boxofcrafts to find that it was /broken/. Yep. And I'm the type of jerk that would only have one nib.


Personal life. Still in school, going to school next semster. Still with boy. Still crazily happy about boy. Gotten into vinyl collecting again. I plan to start that back up after the new year. And I'm starting to like music as much as I did in 2007. Which I've missed a lot. It sucked having a harddrive full of music and not wanting to listen to any of it.
